At Dragon Camps, we believe school holidays should be filled with adventure, laughter, and unforgettable experiences. Set in spacious surroundings and run by a friendly, dedicated team, our camps provide a safe and welcoming environment where children can explore, play, and thrive. With an excellent range of high-quality equipment and activities, every day is designed to be exciting, rewarding, and full of fun.
We offer a jam-packed programme for children aged 5 and above, carefully balanced to suit every energy level. From action-packed games and sports to creative sessions like arts, crafts, and cookery, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Our thoughtfully planned days keep children engaged, help them build confidence, make new friends, and head home full of stories to share.
At our Colwyn Bay location, we also run Mini Edition for younger children aged 4, giving them a gentle introduction to the Dragon Camps experience in a fun and supportive setting.
Dragon Camps began in Easter 2012 with a simple goal: to create a holiday camp offering more variety, better facilities, and a truly enjoyable experience for children. Following the success of our first camp, we quickly expanded, opening again for three days after the Royal Jubilee Bank Holiday in June 2012.
Since then, we’ve continued to grow while staying true to what matters most providing children with a fun, safe, and memorable holiday experience.

Dragon Camps is part of Kids Planet, whose children’s day nurseries provide the highest quality childcare in the County of Conwy.
Kids Planet provide pre-school and after-school care for children during term time. Children under 4 years old will continue to be cared for as normal at the nursery sites.
Kids Planet and Dragon Camps are full members of the National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA). As a member of NDNA, we agree to follow the mission of ‘aiming to deliver quality care and early learning for children’. We also adhere to the NDNA ‘Code of Conduct’ for members, which states that we should uphold high standards of professional conduct that maintain and enhance the reputation of NDNA.
