Coronavirus update 21/03/20

Saturday 21st March 2020

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We have received new guidance from Welsh Government – with effect from Monday our nurseries will only be able to accept key/essential worker children. This also includes children classed as vulnerable. The link below details the guidance and lists which professions this relates to:
https://gov.wales/written-statement-eligibility-ongoing-provision-children-who-are-vulnerable-or-whose-parents-are

This service is statutory so we have no choice as to whom we accept into nursery, from now until further notice. We are awaiting further guidance as to how this will operate. If you are a key worker, please can you let us know what nursery provision you require as soon as possible.

Due to the volume of calls we are experiencing, please can you email all queries to your individual nursery manager as per the list below:
Abergele – sharon.davies@sdn-uk.com
After-school Club at Pen y Bryn – becky.elmer@sdn-uk.com
Ashbourne – alex.wynne@sdn-uk.com
Conwy – karen.harvey@sdn-uk.com
Dragon Camps – becky.elmer@sdn-uk.com
Llandudno – emma.stewartball@sdn-uk.com
West End – sophie.hughes@sdn-uk.com

We are no longer accepting telephone calls regarding accounts queries – please email us and we will work through all the queries as soon as we can. We do understand how important your query is.

For all parents who are no longer able to access our service your account will be suspended and no further charges will accrue.

Please be assured that as soon as we receive any further information we will keep you informed. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support and assistance, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back when normal life resumes.

We are painfully aware of the impact of these changes on many families and we are devastated to be unable to provide our normal service to you all. We wish each and every one of you all the best, take care, look after yourselves, and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future.

Best Wishes

David, Suzanne and all the Springfield Team
